“Chico Cup” The Creative competition of Internet of Things(IoT) & Smart Control successfully held

On June 7th, 2016, “Chico Cup” The Creative competition of Internet of Things(IoT) & Smart Control Finals comes after four rounds ended in GUET.
78 competitors, which from five colleges formed 20 teams and contended. Finals evaluates mainly performance of teamwork + thought + product. The Ranking is according to total score from both audience voting and expert voting and the result will be published immediately after voting.
Dust finally had settle down and every trophy cup had its owner. “Perfect brain hole”, team from College of Communication & Information, won “the Most Popular Award” by its absolute advantage- 2895 votes from network.

In final site, totally 200 students had voted. Teams made presentation on their products well-aligned and answered questions from expert group. Competitors behaved calm and poised. A lot excellent originality and design won sincere applause .

We profoundly realized that it is not only responsibility of university to train comprehensive ability of students, but also the responsibility of society and enterprise who should take an active part in education & training and share this responsibility together.
In the closing speech, CEO Mr. Li stated that “ As the leader of Chico, I never give up the belief to build an excellent team. We insist on exploring new talents, training them and we care about their growth. We insist on building a talent team. We will focus on how to develop and train comprehensive capability of current college students. We will emphasize on innovation and practice. And we will keep on similar significant competitions.”
